Colour Poem by Heather

Out by the mermaid harbor lies a stone house.
The north shore green sways in the grass
and the classic sound of a spring song rings out
with the beauty of a botticelli angel.
Soft heather runs along the land by the beacon gray,
hugging the cliffs gently.
The old dog’s ear perks up
at the resonance of the ocean realm below.
Sea stars wash up upon the pinedale shores,
waiting to be found.
Out by the mermaid harbor lies a stone house.

  1. This is awesome! I can totally picture this scene, and I love how the first and last line are the same.
