Flight Attendant Who Released Her Cat From The Refrigerator

This is the assignment where we picked a random character and a random ending and had to connect the two:

“We are about thirty minutes from landing. Please make sure your trays are in the upright position and please remain seated with your seatbelt fastened for the remainder of the flight.”

Suzy was a recent college graduate who loved her new job as a flight attendant. She got to spend a lot of time traveling around the United States and each new state she stopped in she got to spend the night. After only being on the job for two and a half months, she had already been to every state. She lived in a small apartment in Portland, Oregon alone with her cat. Her cat is large and oversized that spends most of its time eating or sleeping on the sofa. Suzy leaves her cat in her apartment and has her neighbor check in on it a few times a week to make sure it has enough food and water. Her neighbor, however, is very lazy and has two young children. He usually sends his children over to check on the cat so he doesn't miss his shows.

“We have landed in Portland, Oregon. It is 11:50 AM and it is cloudy skies and about sixty seven degrees out. Please remain seated until the aircraft is off and the seatbelt sign is turned off. You may you any electronics at this time. Thank you for flying with JetBlue and have a good day.”

Suzy was relieved that she finally had landed back home and she could sleep in her own bed again. She had been looking forward to this since she had to revisit Montana and Tennessee, two states that she stops at often. All Suzy could think about was going home to see her cat and sleeping in her own bed in her own cozy home. She got of the plane and rapidly walked to her car, pulling her small suitcase behind her.

Once she arrived at home, she pulled into her parking spot in the parking garage and took the elevator up to her floor. Suzy searched through her suitcase for her key and pulled it out and unlocked her apartment. She went to her room and unpacked her suitcase while watching the news. Then she realized her cat was missing. She went next door and knocked on her neighbors door asking when they last checked on her cat. The father of the two small children told Suzy that he sent them over that morning. So Suzy went back in her house and searched her entire apartment, under the couch, behind the curtains and in every other small space that her oversized cat could possibly squeeze into. Finally, exhausted and starving from the long flight she decided she would get some food and relax before finding her cat. She opened the door to the refrigerator to get a snack and released her cat.
