I am reading Beautiful Boy by David Sheff. This book is non-fiction as it is based on a true story and has 317 pages. From what I have read so far, I am very intrigued. The beginning hasn't been very fast moving however, it's hard to put down. I'd give it a thumbs up! In the first few chapters the father is talking about how his sons childhood has been a roller coaster, leading to him where he is now. Nic, the son, suffers an intense addiction to meth and is in and out of rehab and school. The novel is about his fathers journey while he deals with and helps his son through his addiction.
